The extrude and revolve commands in SolidWorks are both used to create solid 3D objects. The extrude command stretches a 2D shape along a specified direction, while the revolve command revolves a 2D shape around an axis to create a 3D object. The choice between the two commands depends on the desired shape and geometry of the object.
