There may be further evidence that Darkstar, the elusive, ultra-rapid jet purportedly being created for the American military, actually exists.
Recently, Lockheed Martin tweeted about the legendary SR-71 Blackbird "being the fastest acknowledged crewed air-breathing jet aircraft." (Our own italicized emphasis.) The tweet might be a subliminal allusion to the SR-72, the long-rumored hypersonic successor to the Blackbird, as first noticed by The War Zone.
