Question: 50/50 custody- my ex is taking my children on a weekend trip this weekend. I gave permission but said only if they don’t miss any school.
Turns out my children will in fact be missing Monday at school. When I told him he could not do this, he let me know that it was his weekend and his Monday, and that he had asked the teachers for the children’s schoolwork in advance so they could complete it.
As it relates to actual vacations and us requesting additional time for vacation, it says those days must occur on the children’s spring break or Christmas break. Since this is not an actual vacation (no extra or exchanged days) and it’s just one day is my ex in contempt?
