I recently bought a CANON EOS R6 and have been on a journey to take better photos. In this video I walk through my steps to take better photos. Step one starts with Location Scouting. Go out, find the location you want to shoot, so you can start doing all the pre-vis work. Step two is actually Pre-Visualization. Getting your ideas together on the computer so you can properly execute the shoot. Step Three is all about casting the proper subject, or getting them ready for the shoot. Step four, lets get the gear in order. In this video I used the Canon EOS R6, the Godox AD 200 Strobe, and the CANON RF 24-70mm Lens. With all this in order, the next step is to get your Wardrobe and Props ready. Lastly, get to location a few minutes early, test out your settings. Then, it's time to execute!
This is one of the best locations of downtown Los Angeles, and one of the best places to photograph Los Angeles at night.
