So, I hopped off Facebook back in 2015 and it seems like I'm not in unfamiliar territory for other folks like. In fact, there was a recent study that found people who left Facebook tend to be men, on average of 31 years old and are more conscientious than others. Pretty much urban beardsmen.

I think a lot of guys are heading to social media platforms they have more control over like Reddit and YouTube. I've also noticed that business people / entrepreneurs are infatuated with Facebook, whereas influencers and content creators don't even think about the platform.
I think that's an indication of the type of people who tend to gravitate towards the platform. Facebook users are more concerned with friends & family and being able to "keep up" with them and more consumed by consumerism. Those that leave facebook tend to be more concerned with their privacy an in person relationships.
