Three Mistakes I Made Pitching My Surface Pattern Work | Elizabeth Silver
Connecting with clients can be really tricky and it’s something new designers are often afraid to do for fear of ‘messing up.’ In this video I first tell a story about how even a childhood business plan can have some elements of success and then dive into 3 of the things that I did when I first started freelancing and was looking to connect with clients that I wouldn’t do again if I was starting over today. I’m calling them mistakes, but really what these things did was slow down my rate of success when I was trying to amp it up.
