2013 Mazda 3 - Bad MAF Diagnostic and Repair
Let's replace the mass air flow sensor on a 2013 Mazda 3 with a 2.0L Skyactiv engine and automatic transmission. We had a check engine light with a Lean code P0171. We got the car to run only after modulating the gas pedal which revealed the real problem. Another code for Performance of mass or volume air flow sensor P0101. This was a very easy fix if you have the right tools!
