Skyway Project - ShrinkWrap Hoarding for Vessel Manufacturing
🏗️ 🚢 We are thrilled to share our recent shrinkwrap hoarding project inside a vessel manufacturing facility! The goal? Construct a massive enclosure to allow our client to sandblast and coat a large vessel before transportation.
We used the Layher truss system, creating a 150-foot long, 50-foot wide, and 38-foot high structure, large enough to accommodate the vessel and JLG lifts for the sandblasting and coating processes. To protect against Edmonton's unpredictable weather, we partnered with a trusted provider to wrap the entire structure, ensuring the work could proceed uninterrupted.
Despite a tight 1.5-week deadline, our experienced Edmonton team utilized Skytrax to streamline project management processes, successfully completing the enclosure. This allowed the client to stay on schedule and deliver the vessel as planned.
