Making a Hammond Drone with Blue3, Gauss, Super VHS, Artifacts (Workflow: See Pinned Comment)
Here going for another Elaine Radigue style meditative drone, but with a very different approach from last time, mainly based around multiple instances of Gauss by Bram Bos and Hainbach. If you like this kind of thing, you may want to play it twice, once with eyes closed, enjoying the subtle changes, and once with eyes open, watching the workflow. There are no ads in the middle to break the meditative flow.

❇️WORKFLOW:
The main things to pay attention to when watching this video are the speeds that the various Gauss instances are running at, the fact that all except the first one are set to monitor, and how the volumes of various instances are manipulated.
So what I did was this:
Recorded a short loop of some sustained notes played on the Blue3 (fantastic modeled Hammond AUv3 by GG Audio, much more competitively priced than the IK Mulitmedia one, far far better sounding than the Genuine Sounds VB3m or Galileo 2, and extremely full featured) into the first instance of Gauss.
Opened some empty nodes on the same channel. Long pressed that Gauss instance to copy it multiple times into those nodes. I then changed the speeds of these instances by ear, thus altering the pitch. Then during the performance, I brought each one in, and later brought them out, gradually, using their volume buttons. Remember that unless you turn on monitor in any given Gauss instance, you will not hear the Gauss instances that come before it in the chain.
I ran this chain through an instance of Super VHS. I also used a send bus to send to Bus A, where I added some bitcrushing from BitJuggler, Alteza as a reverb, and some electrical whine from Artifacts.
Simple, but very effective as a meditative drone with a bit of grit to it.
