Being a PM at Microsoft: Divide and conquer
Most interesting work requires involvement from multiple people and teams. Don’t try to build consensus in large group meetings. Sort of like lawyers in court only ask questions to which they already know the answers, you should only try to get group buy-in when you know that most or all participants already agree.
