Monumentum Damnati is a two-piece international band formed and released first album in 2020. Music focused around Dark Metal, Melodic Doom/Death and Symphonic Black Metal with eerie and epic orchestral arrangements. The grotesque masks that hide the participants' faces as well as pseudonyms instead of names help to evaluate the band's music more impartially.
Under the influence of various experiments and horror-atmosphere songs focus around such topics: Victorian Gothic, mental disorders, dark folklore and mythology, occultism, characters of various horror and surreal works (Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, etc.).
By this moment the band have released several music videos and full length album "In The Tomb Of a Forgotten King" (2020) which got many positive feedback and reviews from different journalists all over the world including legendary Metal Hammer. The band collaborated with worldwide famous sound engineers and musicians. On the recent single "Rats In the Walls" (2024) the band worked with Patrick Damiani most famous for his works with Carach Angren and Falkenbach.
