How to Program Your Garage Door | Tech Tip Tuesday
1) Press and hold two outside buttons on the review mirror first thing in order to clear previous codes -- hold for aprox. 1min. until the light indicator on mirror flashes. (2) press and hold desired mirror button and the garage door opener button (approx. 2-3 inches away from mirror) at the same time (again that's press and hold both buttons remote and mirror) until indicator light flashes rapidly or stays lit. Note: If it lights up sold (no flashing) your programmed (done) -- if it flashes rapidly, then you will need to press the learn/teach button on the back of the garage door motor (in the garage) once, then head back to the car (you will have approx. 30 seconds) press and hold the programmed button (in the car) until garage door light blinks then let go, then press and hold again -- the garage door should activate, and your programmed.
