Access all areas at one of TFCC's Elite Residential courses. We welcome you to come and experience one of our unique Elite courses with unseen footage, exclusive interviews with players and coaches and a full insight into what our courses entail.
Since 2018 TFCC have pioneered their 'Elite Residential', providing a high-end unrivaled coaching experience outside of the county game.
With only 30 applicant places per course, we firmly believe that outside of top level county academies, their isn't an experience for young players like this in the UK, where they can access high level ECB Level 4 coaches and support staff around the clock 24/7
Led by the TFCC coaches, a team of specialist professionals has been assembled to guarantee each player an individual tailored experience under our trusted guidance
Courses are suitable for all players of county pathway standard or equivalent, and also club/school first X1/A team. Experience and age will be grouped accordingly.

How can TFCC help your D of E
Tom Flowers Cricket Coaching (TFCC) is now offering D of E Gold Residential. We are delighted to announce that, as DofE Approved Activity Providers (AAPs), TFCC is now licensed to offer residentials for young people doing their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. This is a huge step forward for TFCC, offering the candidate an experience that has not been done before in cricket. It is a chance for young people to complete their D of E Gold residential while furthering their cricket ambitions.

What is D of E?
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (commonly known as D of E) is a prestigious youth awards programme established in the United Kingdom in 1956 by Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Since its inception, it has gained worldwide recognition and is now present in 144 nations. The programme aims to acknowledge the accomplishments of adolescents and young adults who successfully undertake a series of self-improvement exercises inspired by Kurt Hahn's solutions to the "Six Declines of Modern Youth." These exercises serve as a means for personal growth and development.
Awards programme:
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award programmes span a duration of one to four years, and participants must complete them before reaching their twenty-fifth birthday. Annually, approximately 300,000 new individuals embark on this journey, while the current number of active participants in the UK is estimated to be around 461,000. The programmes are structured into three progressive levels, namely Bronze, Silver, and Gold, each representing a significant milestone in achieving the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
With the guidance of adult leaders, participants are empowered to select and establish objectives in the following key areas:
1. Volunteering: Engaging in meaningful service to individuals or the community
2. Physical: Enhancing skills and performance in sports, dance, or fitness activities
3. Skills: Cultivating practical, social, and personal interests
4. Expedition: Strategising, preparing for, and successfully completing an adventurous journey in the UK or abroad (not applicable to TFCC)
To achieve the Gold level, participants are required to undertake an additional fifth section known as "Residential". This section entails working and residing away from home for a duration of five days and engaging in a shared activity with fellow participants.
To qualify for an award, participants must dedicate a minimum period of time to each section and be supervised and assessed by individuals knowledgeable in the chosen activities. The commitment and duration increase with each progressive level: Bronze (3-6 months), Silver (6–9 months), and Gold (12–18 months). Throughout their DofE programme, participants must demonstrate regular activity and unwavering dedication, typically involving a minimum of one hour per week.
