Wouldn't TAKUMAR be good enough? Standard lens
・SMC TAKUMAR 50mm F1.4
・SUPER TAKUMAR 55mm F1.8
Even though we're in the age of full-frame mirrorless cameras, I'm starting to think that TAKUMAR lenses are a good choice for standard lenses. I recently purchased the smc PENTAX-FA 50mm F1.4 Classic this summer, a lens that frequently produces rainbow-colored flare. However, the rainbows were so spectacular that I couldn't get the hang of it, so I got rid of it. Prior to that, I took some photos with my two TAKUMAR standard lenses, and this video is about that.
Now that I think about it, I kept mentioning rainbow halos, but those halos are the kind you see on Summilux and Summilux lenses. Also, regarding rainbow-colored flare, strictly speaking, the rainbows I'm seeing here are different from the concentric circles that occur with the Classic.
Should I go for the highly acclaimed "SUPER SUPER TAKUMAR 50mm F1.4 (early model)"? Someone please give me a push! (lol)
