Non-Catholic cemetery in Rome, where Shelley, Gramsci & Keats are buried. Protestant cemeteries always look so wonderful because they're really not much different than city parks. It's easy to understand why they can sometimes become a playground for children, or a common space - whether it be a marathon, a film projection, or any other social activity. Catholic cemeteries, on the other hand, tend to be much more like guarded citadels, and no activity besides visiting the loved ones is usually admitted.
