Macbook Pro is powerful, but it can get really hot. Adding couple cooling fans at the base of a stand is the way to go.

My laptop is a 2018 Macbook Pro, but the stand should fit any laptop with a 16mm thickness.

The fan I used is measured at 70mmx70mmx15mm, and powered via USB. It was originally made for wireless router. Please see the link here (ebay): https://ebay.to/336IS19
The stand can hold 1 to 3 fans.

I used the hot glue gun to set the fans in place.
