Amazonas, An Ancient Web of Water and Woods - Documentary by Susan Purvis
In 1989, Susan Purvis and freelance writer and pilot, Michael Parfit flew his Cessna 177 to the Amazon from Montana to report on the destruction of the Brazilian rain forest. Their three-month-long expedition resulted in a feature article for Smithsonian Magazine and this video.
Susan's 25-minute documentary, "Amazonas, An Ancient Web of Water and Woods," was video taped, produced, written and narrated by Susan Purvis.
