Hello everyone! Achieving a retro feeling is much easier than one would think. In this video I'll show you how to use a pixelation and posterization effect with some gamma correction in order to make your game stand out and really capture that old school look.

Vertical and Horizontal bars could appear for pixelation. Sometimes pixel count division could get out of [0, 1] bounds. For that, the screen texture sampling can be set to non-repeating:
uniform sampler2D screen_texture : hint_screen_texture, repeat_disable;

The posterization idea comes from https://github.com/lettier/3d-game-sh... . You can find many other cool 3D shaders there.
