the start of the spring semester at risd was a scramble to get into all the classes I wanted... filled with sewing in preparation for my runway show, swimming, plaster demos & moldmaking, this vlog follows one week in my life as a sculpture major at rhode island school of design.
art school is such a magical place that sometimes even I forget just how creative & free we are here at risd. having just finished a fashion internship in new york, I was really out of sync with the rhythms of uni life - at the start of this vlog, even just the idea of having a lesson filled me with a sense of existential dread... but I got back into it fairly quickly & was soon stomping around providence in my leaky hiking boots :D
