What does an Advanced Therapy Drug Development Laboratory look like?
The Asociación Civil de Investigación y Desarrollo de Terapias Avanzadas (Acidta) has a modern laboratory for the research, development and production of drugs based on advanced therapies in Buenos Aires. The laboratory has been designed following international biosafety and operational guidelines, which guarantee the safety of products, operators and the environment. The laboratory produces cell-based drugs for osteoarthrosis, tendinitis, muscular dystrophy, skin treatments, spinal cord injuries, among others. It is also used for the training and education of professionals interested in specializing in this type of therapy.
