Good morning, LinkedIn. And here I am, back again for yet another Wednesday Office Wisdom from me, Shelley Fishel, the MS Office Maestro. And today's tip is another Quickstep one. I like those Quicksteps. They do so many things and you can combine lots of steps, which is what we're going to do in today's Quickstep.

So, is there somebody that you always need to forward an email to and perhaps there's some standard text that you need to include in that email? Like, I really think you should look at this or something like that. I know it's a silly example, but we'll go with it for now. Bear with me. So let me show you how you can create a Quickstep to not only forward your email to a specific person, but also to include that standard text, which is going to save you typing in their email address and also the standard text.

So I'm going to share my screen. I'm going to share screen and I'm sharing the screen I'm in. So it's going to look a bit odd for a moment. There we go. And I'm just going to bring Outlook up to the front.

Now, I've got an email here from Denise about some training that I'm going to be doing later in the year, in the next couple of months. And perhaps I need to always forward that to my assistant, Veronica, so that she can do things with it. So, I'm going to come up to either the dropdown here and you Quickstep or click the little button here and choose Quickstep. I went to get one, though, so I'm going to come here and like I showed you last week, I'm going to create a custom Quickstep. Now, I could use the forward one, but that wouldn't give me the opportunity of adding the extra text.

So I'm going to call this forward, I'm going to call it Send to Veronica and I'm going to choose the action which will be forward. There we go. Now, I'm going to add in Veronica's email address, veronica at tomorrow’s VA. There she is, my froggy friend. And now I'm going to do what I did last week by adding my text.

So this could be this is really important, please take a look or whatever and then I can finish that off. Now, if I forward this to Veronica, if I click on any of these, let me click on this one and I come to my send to , Veronica, it's going to set up an email to Veronica with my really important text and she can go and see what that's all about. So that's today's three-minute tip and I'm just going to bring take Outlook away. I hope you found that useful. Do leave me some comments.

I'd love to know what you think about these three-minute tips. And we're going to move away from Outlook in the coming weeks and start to look at some other Microsoft Office applications. So that's me Shelley - The MS Office Maestro with my Wednesday Office wisdom LinkedIn live. See you soon.
