Ever imagined coming across 2 Documents folders? They might appear to contain the same data, but that is not entirely true. So here is what you do to fix this.
First of all, merge these 2 folders so that it is now a single folder.
Now scan this folder with Clone Files Checker. Just add up this folder in CFC using the Add button and start the scan. When the scan is over, click Select Duplicates to retain 1 file in each duplicate group and use Select Action to delete the rest.
Now open the folder that bears your username (on the Desktop) and right-clicks the Documents folder. Click Location and now hit Restore Default.
Finally, you can move the remaining data from the folder you scanned for duplicates, to this Documents folder.
All the duplicates have been deleted, and the Documents folder is also back at its original location.
