Did it ever happen that you tried deleting some files but they reappeared after some time?
Worry not, because today we will take a look at what causes this issue and how to resolve it the easiest way.

1. Reset Recycle Bin
Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
Type the command shown on the screen:
rd /s /q “C:\$Recycle.bin”
This command will reset Recycle Bin for the C:\ drive.
If you want to reset it for another drive, replace “C:\” with the drive letter.

2. Disable Cloud Syncing
Do you use OneDrive?
Disable the file syncing for some time before deleting your files.
Sometimes, conflicts with the OneDrive app cause your deleted files to reappear.

3. System Restore
Type Recovery in the Search area and open it.
Click Open System Restore and select Choose a different restore point.
Choose a restore point and click Next to complete the restore process.
