Penny, a sweet and artistic squirrel girl, is in love with her goofy but lovable roommate Alex. But when he leaves for a trip, her friends set her up with someone new — Pyrus, a handsome and mysterious cat-boy.
Meanwhile, Felicia discovers a hidden folder in her uncle’s study, revealing shocking information: several families are descended from powerful godlike beings, with inherited abilities that are starting to awaken.
Elsewhere, Alex’s sister Vulpini rescues a strange girl named Kaiyo, who has no memory — only unstable powers and a terrifying glimpse of someone who tried to harm her. As emotions tangle and secrets rise, it becomes clear: this world is changing. The descendants of the gods — the Divus — are beginning to awaken.
