Chapter 6 - Conditions - Statements and Operators
This is sixth chapter from the course - C# and .NET For Beginners.
This begins with introduction to decision making. In the first section, it explains details about IF statements. Then it discusses about various comparison operators. It also throws light on why the comparisons behave differently.
Then the chapter discusses about operators which can be used for combining the conditions (Negation, Logical AND, Logical XOR, Logical OR, Conditional AND, Conditional OR). It also explains difference between logical and conditional operators.
Then the chapter moves on to the Switch statements and Switch expressions. After this, ternary operator and null coalescing operators are explained.
This chapter also contains many code along sections which would be helpful for you to follow the discussion and understand the concept thoroughly.
The chapter also tries to explain the basic difference between value types and reference types.
