Pathology of Chronic Inflammation

Chronic inflammation is characterized by simultaneous mononuclear infiltrate, tissue destruction and attempts at healing. This video gives an overview of the general pathologic causes and morphologic features of this type of inflammation.

It also covers the cells most commonly seen in this type of reaction, differences in the two types of macrophage activation and finally granulomatous reactions.
