Bikepacking Close to Home | From Summer Bay to Sydney Opera House
I wanted to show that you do not have to travel for miles and miles to have a great bikepacking adventure. This is a one day bikepacking trip close my home in Sydney. It starts up near Barrenjoey Lighthouse at Palm Beach which is used as the backdrop to Summer Bay in Neighbours. Then, via a series of trails, tracks, bridle ways and cycle paths, it winds its way through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park across to Terry Hills, in to Garigal National Park. Across the Roseville Bridge, through the back of Chatswood and down to North Sydney where I go across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and around to the Sydney Opera House.
