Charade (1953) The film Charade is a trio of short stories introduced by and starring James Mason and his wife Pamela Mason. In the first installment, "Portrait of a Murderer," a cynical young artist (Pamela Mason) absentmindedly sketches her neighbor (James Mason) who, unbeknownst to her, is a dangerous murderer. In "Duel at Dawn," two 19th century Austrian police officers (Mason and Scott Forbes) duel for the love of a Baroness (Pamela Mason). In "The Midas Touch," successful American businessman Jonah Watson (James Mason) becomes bored with his life and moves to England where he takes a job as a servant and falls in love with a cockney maid (Pamela Mason).
