Unlike single-function sensor switches that only support one operation mode, our dual-function design breaks the limitations, allowing you to choose the most convenient way to control your cabinet lights according to different scenarios. With a rated power of 60W and compatibility with DC12V/24V power supplies, it is suitable for most cabinet light types, including LED strip lights, spotlights, and panel lights, making it highly versatile. Additionally, the switch supports both surface mounting and recessed mounting, adapting to different cabinet structures and decoration styles without damaging the integrity of your cabinet design. Crafted with high-quality materials and advanced sensor technology, this switch ensures stable operation, high sensitivity, and long service life, providing you with a reliable lighting control solution that stands the test of time.
Door Sensor Mode: Automatic On/Off with Door Movement
The door sensor mode is designed for cabinets that are frequently opened and closed, such as kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, and bathroom vanities. It uses infrared induction technology to detect the opening and closing of the cabinet door, automatically turning the light on when the door is opened and off when the door is closed. This mode eliminates the need to manually turn the light on or off, making it extremely convenient for daily use.
How it works: The door sensor is equipped with an infrared transmitter and receiver. When the cabinet door is closed, the infrared signal is blocked by the door, and the switch remains in the off state. When the door is opened, the infrared signal is no longer blocked, and the switch detects the movement, triggering the light to turn on. When the door is closed again, the infrared signal is blocked once more, and the switch turns off the light. The induction distance can be adjusted (usually 5-10cm) to ensure that the switch responds accurately to door movements, without false triggers.
Usage method: To use the door sensor mode, simply set the switch to "Door Sensor" mode (via the mode switch on the device). Once set, the switch will automatically detect the opening and closing of the cabinet door, controlling the light accordingly. There is no need for any manual operation—just open the door, and the light will turn on; close the door, and the light will turn off. Hand Sweep Sensor Mode: Touch-Free Control with a Wave
The hand sweep sensor mode is designed for scenarios where you need to control the light without touching the switch, such as when your hands are dirty, wet, or occupied. It uses infrared induction technology to detect the movement of your hand in front of the sensor, allowing you to turn the light on or off with a simple wave of your hand. This mode is particularly useful in kitchen environments, where your hands may be covered in oil or water, or in wardrobes where you are holding clothes.
How it works: The hand sweep sensor detects the movement of a hand within a certain range (usually 3-8cm) in front of the sensor. When you wave your hand in front of the sensor, the infrared signal is disturbed, and the switch triggers the light to turn on or off. The switch uses a "toggle" mechanism—each wave of the hand toggles the light state (on to off, off to on). The response time is quick (less than 0.5 seconds), ensuring that the light responds immediately to your hand movement.
Usage method: To use the hand sweep sensor mode, set the switch to "Hand Sweep" mode (via the mode switch on the device). Once set, simply wave your hand in front of any sensor head (the switch may have one or multiple sensor heads, depending on the model) to turn the light on or off. There is no need to touch the switch—just a gentle wave is enough.
