This is the first stage of carving an elm bowl from half a log.
The inside is cut with an adze and the outside - with an axe and a stock knife.
At this stage, a rough shape is formed, more detailed carving will be shown in the second part.

Первый этап изготовления большого блюда из сырого вяза - грубая рубка для формирования силуэта. Внутренняя часть выдалбливается теслом, внешняя - рубится топором и рычажным ножом. Продолжение процесса будет представлено во второй части.
