Little known credit score trick
This is the most effective trick to keep your credit score high that no
one talks about :
Don’t pay your credit card on the due date
Pay it 3 days prior to the statement issue date instead
When the statement comes out - the balance on that date is the balance
which gets reported to the credit bureaus, and this affects your credit
score for the next 30 days
So, even if you pay the whole balance off when the statement comes
out - your credit will show a balance owed on that particular credit card
If the balance reported is above half the credit limit, it will hurt your
credit scores
If the balance reported is low - this will keep your score significantly
higher
So pay the balance down before the statement comes out and you'll be
golden
