Bringing Home your New Kitten | Preparing your Home | Information Series Part 1

Bringing Home your New Kitten is Very Exciting * But it can also be Stressful for your Kitten

It is Recommended to Set up a Special Area in your Home Before the Kitten Arrives

If you have a Quiet home you can Set up your Kittens Area in your Living Space
If not find a Low Traffic Area or a Separate Room

In this Area you will Want
The Carrier * the Kitten Arrived in
Food & Water
Litter Box
Toys

All my Kittens are Raised using a Cat Tree
It's a great place to Sharpen their Claws Also a Safe Spot for when company or other pets come over for a Visit
Approximately 3- 4 ft Tall with a Bed on Top is Best

For Safety Reasons it is Recommended that you
“ Kitten Proof “ your Home

Start by Putting Live Plants Up and Out of Reach of the Kitten
Also Tie up - Loose Wires or Electrical Cords, Securely Close all Windows & Check Screens and Secure Dangling Cords on Draperies & Blinds
Keep all Cleaning Fluids Disinfectants Insecticides and Medications Out of Reach

The Day Your Kitten Comes Home
Block Off Any Potential Escape Routes, Close all Bedroom Doors & Entries to Stairways
When Letting Your Kitten Roam Around & Explore make sure to keep a Watchful Eye on them at all Times
It is Recommended to Keep the Kitten in your Bedroom for the First Couple Nights until they are Familiar with their New Surroundings
