I brought this Series 3 4.2 Jaguar XJ Sovereign VERY cheap from Facebook Marketplace and once it is running, i will get it in the workshop and have a good look over it.
The plan is to put it back on the road and it will become the family car which means, my S Type R will unfortunately, probably be up for sale.
This XJ is one of the last Series 3's with a straight 6 engine, the 4.2 to be specific. I have never owned an XK engined car so i am looking forward to the quirks of this engine and also excited for the 'Magic Carpet' ride they are so well known for.
