The model's foundation is the Defender P400 AWD in the long, five-door body type 110. Its 3-liter, in-line 6-cylinder petrol engine delivers an outstanding 400 HP and 550 Nm even in stock form owing to turbocharging. While there is still a bunch of power, the MANHART is revving by remapping Defender's engine control software. This boosts the engine's performance to an outstanding 512 HP and 710 Nm of torque, putting it on par with the top model's 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine.
The Defender DP 500 will also have a significantly more special and dominating look with the MANHART stainless steel exhaust system, which is still in development and will be available with carbon or ceramic-coated tailpipes. Although the vehicle displayed is in its standard form, the Manhart can enhance the brakes upon request. The factory air suspension has also been optimized for the chassis, featuring a 30-millimeter drop via software tweaks or coupling rods.
The new 1024-inch MANHART Forged Line rims with a light grey finish, and 295/30ZR24 tires on the Manhart Defender DP 500 give it a stunning appearance. There is the Concave One in 10.522 inches with black finish and gold trim with 295/40 tires for those choosing a smaller wheel set that is also more suited for off-road use. This wheel is installed on the back as a spare. Evil wing flares provide the Defender with noticeably larger shoulders. They have been painted the exact color as the rest of the exterior and the engine cover, and stylish silver lines on the black bodywork provide more visual features.
The Manhart also improved the inside by adding each selectable accents and a high-quality leather/Alcantara interior. Additionally, a pair of MANHART ErgoMed front seats from RECARO is electrically heated and cooled and have integrated airbags for the driver and front passenger. So the Manhart Defender DP 500 looks like a super SUV with all these modifications.
