In this video, we go over the second evolution of SHA1, SHA2. SHA2 improves upon several features of SHA1 and introduces different modes of security. First, we implement SHA2-256 (or just SHA256) and then leverage the similarities between SHA256 and SHA224 to create an implementation of SHA224 without much extra logic.
