Planting trees for a sustainable future
Last fall, our Diehl Metering sites hosted a variety of employee activities in honor of European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW). We concentrated on spreading knowledge of greenhouse gases and our efforts to reduce them in keeping with the Sustainable Development Goal #13 topic of climate action. Following on from ESDW, there have been a number of initiatives with a lasting impact. The event in Germany was organized with a promise that a tree would be planted for every team member attending the sessions.
