16th Toshali mela 2022, Bhubaneswar. Odisha Art and craft mela. Indian Traditional decor.
The Mela was located at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. This was started from March 28 and will end on April 10, 2022. The Toshali fair opens at 6 pm to 9:30 Pm abiding Covid protocols.
Our CM Naveen Pattnaik was inaugurate the 16th edition of the mela, organised by Department of Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts. This is the biggest fair in the Eastern Indian.
This mela is held to show our Indian traditional arts, handicrafts and handlooms to raise awareness about the skills and creative intricacies involved in making the products.
This year the fair having around 390 handlooms stalls. Around 90 Weavers and 150 artisans from different states of the country, including odisha, will take part.
It is to be noted that the Toshali mela will be held twice this year. The 17th Toshali mela will also be held in December this year.
