Simulation of combustion in a rocket engine with Ansys Fluent
The rocket combustion chamber simulation project with Ansys Fluent: 10kN motor working on LOX + CH4 propellants operating at sea level.
Presented simulation describes combustion in a gaseous flow. Simulation of liquid-to-gas transition (phase change) should be made, including an appropriate evaporation model.
