The Steve in "Better Together" slaughtered a village with stolen diamonds and armour belonging to Alex, Alex confronts him atop a sandy mountain, where Steve reveals he's found out about 'admin powers' and intends to erase the world, they fight and Alex wins, causing him to try out his new form 'Herobrine'. After seeing the battle is fruitless, Steve leaves the world to join another, leaving Alex by herself.
