Whether you work behind the camera, on the computer, or in the control room at your church, this video is for you.
Too often, in church media, we use "in-house" terms that don't exist in the professional audiovisual world. The result: we unintentionally undervalue ourselves and lose credibility.
In this video, we'll look at three common mistakes that many technicians in churches make... and, more importantly, how to correct them to speak the language of the pros:
Using the wrong words to talk about display
Saying "on-screen" instead of "graphics operator"
Calling a "switch" a position that is actually "video director" or "multicam operator"
💡 If we want to raise our level and serve with excellence, we must also speak with excellence. Audiovisual work is still audiovisual work, even in the church.
