Making a Stanley 78 Scrub Plane
Following the Paul Sellers method, I give it a go converting my Stanley 78 Rebate/Rabbet plane into a scrub plane by creating a large camber on the iron.
Ground it using a vintage hand-cranked grinding wheel and then hand sharpening. It works pretty well once I kind of got the hang of the right depth to use it at and technique.
