Online Motorcycle Taxi Driver Caught in Tanah Abang Illegal Parking Raid: "I'm Picking Up a Truck...
Prabunews - An online motorcycle taxi driver was nearly arrested by the Central Jakarta Transportation Agency (Sudinhub) during a raid on illegal parking attendants. The 20-year-old man was sitting on the front porch of a minimarket during the raid.
"Sir, I'm a driver, by Allah," said the young man as he approached his motorcycle parked in front of the minimarket on Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Thursday (May 30, 2024).
Raising two fingers, he swore that he was not a parking attendant at the minimarket. He explained that he was just taking a break before returning to look for passengers. "Don't arrest me carelessly, sir. I'm driving Grab," the young man told the officers. (Kompas)
