Deep Dark Atmospheric Drum & Bass - Sayat Nova (via Moog DFAM, Roland JP8000, Clavia Nordlead A1)
Do you feel the claustrophobic & intricate dark atmosphere? I just wonder why I should always come up with the bright side of atmospheres, when there can also be a dark one.
I started this song with a hypnotic pattern I randomly created on the Moog DFAM. The beat was crafted in Bitwig using heavily NI Battery. Later, on top I recorded the atmospheres using the DFAM and my JP8000. The bass is a melange of Arturia's Mini V, Clavia Nordlead A1 and Serum.
Sayat Nova was an Armenian poet and musician. The hypnotic scenes are taken from the film Նռան գույնը (The Colour of Pomegranates), which was banned in the former Soviet Union.
