PS. Some fun facts about the song:
The drums are not real, oddly enough! I programmed them when I was writing/recording the song and then later, for the sake of this video, made my best attempt at playing along to them... for real.
Original bass recording I did on fretless bass but later replaced it with the 5 string Ibanez (w/ frets) as it sounded more aggressive.
Also I originally did the outro guitar solo but I knew it was not up to par so I reached out to Dave (who also helped mix and master the song) to replace it.
The keys in the chorus are an arpeggiator that I could not figure out how to play manually, as it's FAST and across at least 2 octaves! Plus I'm not the greatest keyboard player, hence the lack of keys in the video. You can hear em, but you can't see em! :p
The song is somewhat inspired by Christian Progressive Death/Thrash Metal band EXTOL. I guess they don't ALL burn down churches over there!
