Addison Goes West - Super 8 Film
This year's trip to Zion was extra special; my daughter joined me for the first time. I had so much fun showing her my favorite places and visiting some new ones together. She even hiked Angel's Landing...AT THE AGE OF NINE!!! I'm so happy we got to make these memories together.
For landscape photography, I actually shot this year on digital just to save time. However, I did shoot video footage on a Super 8 Camera. I used the Canon 310XL and am absolutely thrilled with how the footage turned out! The nostalgic esthetic of this film is exactly how I wanted to remember this trip.
Of course, no Super 8 film is complete without the correct music. My friend Ryan Musique created a fantastic score a while back. As soon as I heard it, I knew I wanted to use it for this type of film.
