जादुई चित्रकलम
एउटा सानो गाउँमा, पहाडहरूका बीचमा बसेको, किरण नामको सानो केटा बस्थ्यो। किरणलाई चित्र बनाउन र रंग लगाउन धेरै मन पर्थ्यो, तर उसको परिवारसँग चित्रकलाका सामग्रीहरू किन्ने पैसा थिएन। उसले आफ्नो दिनहरू माटोमा लठ्ठीले चित्र बनाउँदै वा फुलहरू पिसेर रंगहरू बनाउँदै बिताउँथ्यो।
एक बिहान, जब किरण जङ्गलमा घुमिरहेको थियो, उसले चम्किलो खोलाको छेउमा एउटा पुरानो काठको चित्रकलम भेट्टायो। सुरुमा यो साधारण देखिन्थ्यो, तर यो विशेष जस्तो लाग्थ्यो। उसले चित्रकलम उठायो र प्रयोग गर्ने निर्णय गर्यो।

हताश भएर, उसले चित्रकलमलाई खोलामा फ्याँकिदियो। किरणलाई जब उसको चित्रकलम हरायो भन्ने थाहा भयो, ऊ दुखी भयो। तर उसले सम्झियो कि चित्रकलमले गाउँमा खुसी ल्याएको थियो। उसले बुझ्यो कि जादू चित्रकलममा मात्र होइन, बरु उसले अरूसँग बाँडेको दयालुता र खुशीमा थियो।
