How To Use A Xbox Kinect As Webcam

Questions? Send me a message I might be able to respond. So far I know it works with Skype. Leave a comment if it works with anything else. I AM NOT SURE IF IT WILL WORK WHEN YOU HAVE THE SDK 1.6 WHICH WAS USED IN THE KINECT ON GMOD VIDEO! LEAVE A COMMENT IF IT DOES WORK PLEASE!

Instructions:
1. Download "KinectCam.ax" and "Kinect SDK Beta 2".
2. Install "Kinect SDK Beta 2".
3. Plug in your Kinect. (Back port. Front port doesn't usually work.)
4. Make a folder where you want to keep "KinectCam.ax" at.
5. Launch Command Prompt as administrator.
6. Type in "regsvr32"
7. Copy the directory where you saved "KinectCam.ax"
8. Put a space and paste it in after "regsvr32". The you need to add "\KinectCam.ax" to the end of the directory.
9. Hit Enter. (A message should come up that says it succeeded.)
10. Restart your computer.
11. It should be working now.
Motor Functions:
1. Click start
2. Type in "run"
3. Type in "%appdata%"
4. Go back a folder
5. Open "Local"
6. Find and open "KinectCam"
7. Open the config file

-Set elevation angle: Angle at which the camera will tilt when activated
-Shutdown angle: The angle the Kinect will return to when shutdown
-Flip Image: Does exactly what it says. Settings are; 0 and 1.
