What the Queen's Birthday Celebration REALLY Celebrated
On this day 53 years ago, my parents were blessed with the greatest soul & they named me Tsholofelo as they knew that I was going to be the shining light in their family.
I would like to first thank the Almighty God who, without his grace, I will not be here. Thank u, Lord, for showering me with blessings throughout my life. Thank u for being there in my life, protecting me & intervening on my behalf even at times when I didn't know I needed intervention.
I would also like to thank my late father for all the guidance, encouragement & support that he gave to me for 51 years of my life. Your presence in my life has nurtured me to be the woman I am today. You taught me the values of self believe, humility & integrity. We sometimes take for granted the presence of a father in a girl"s life. Your presence, support, encouragement & teachings will forever be appreciated & I'm grateful for everything that u have done 4 me. You are the best father any girl could ask for & I'm glad God chose u to be my father. Continue to rest in eternal peace, Papa.
To my mother, the pillar of Mokgope family. The woman who taught me about the importance of being independent as a woman. The woman who taught me resilience, hard work & above all the power of God. I will always be eternally grateful that the good Lord blessed me with a phenomenal woman like u. Thank u for everything that u have done 4 me. I thank God that u are still in my life.
Lastly, my children, my joy, my pride, my reason for wanting to become a better person. U have brought stability & accountability in my life. You have taught me about being selfless & grounded as whatever I do, I always think about how my actions will impact your lives. I may not be the world's best mom, but I know to u, I'm the world. Thank u for gracing me with a very important title of being your mom. In another lifetime, I will still choose u as my children. I love u very much.
