This portable ham radio trip out nearly failed | UK heatwave | Outdoor cooking
I spend a couple of days playing portable ham radio during a heatwave in the UK. I was hoping to try out a 17m dipole using 2 mobile whips but I ended up facing numerous tech problems including a battery failure due to not keeping the battery in good health.
While it was enjoyable it was a bit of a struggle to work in the Sun which for the UK was very strong.
