In an era poised on the brink of quantum computing breakthroughs, the foundational cryptographic systems safeguarding digital communications face unprecedented threats. This talk explores the imminent challenges posed by quantum capabilities, specifically through Shor's and Grover's Algorithms, to current encryption methods including RSA and ECC. It will highlight the urgent need for Post-Quantum Cryptography PQC solutions, and the ongoing efforts to develop quantum-resistant algorithms.
